A memorial booklet commemorating the British Battalion of the International Brigade and published for the National Memorial Meeting of the British Battalion held at the Empress Hall on January 8th, 1939. Contents include an account of the battalion by Philip Bolsover, anti-tank battery by Miles Tomalin, a Hospital Interlude by Nan Green as well as details of the leaders and some of those who fell. There is also a 15 page Roll of Honour. The small booklet is illustrated with photographs and drawings and has the two original enclosures being the programme for the meeting with poems and songs on the reverse and a reproduction painting.

Condition

This copy is in very good condition for age. There is a little rusting to the staples and wear to covers but it is essentially in sound condition.
