This copy has a non-authorial inscription to the ffep to G Butler Lloyd from his brother Ernest. George Butler Lloyd was a British banker and politician who also served as Mayor of Shrewsbury in the late 1880s.
A round up of the field sports scene in Shropshire and Cheshire, including accounts of runs with Sir Watkin Williams Wynn's, The South Cheshire, Shropshire, Albrighton, Ludlow, South Hereford, Radnorshore and West Herefordshire hunts, as well as a week in Yorkshire. Illustrated with light-hearted sketches of hunting scenes and portraits.
This copy is in very good condition for age. There is a little dulling to the covers but the book is essentially in very sound shape.
