A book from Hilda Leyel (who wrote as Mrs C F Leyel) on sensible diets, including chapters on calories, organic mineral salts, eggs and dairy, meat, fish, seaweed, sugar, nuts, bread and wine, etc as well as diets for specific illnesses and for children. The author was an expert on herbalism and founded the Society of Herbalists.
Whilst the book is in good shape and in strong readable condition, the spine is heavily faded and boards' edges a little rubbed. School prize label to ffep.
