This volume contains writings on 1. Different Methods of Doing Honour to the Dead (contains writings on funeral rites across the world from the East to Ireland, and certain rites such as shaving the head, visiting the graves, singing etc. 2. Concerning the Literature, Books, etc of the Eastern Nations, 3. Observations Relating to the Natural, Civil and Military State of Judea, 4. Concerning Egypt, the Adjoining Wilderness and the Red Sea.
Fair condition. The spine is quite heavily scuffed with one small patch of loss and the boards rubbed. The contents in good readable condition, with intermittent foxing and tanning.
