A collection of maxims from Paul-Jean Toulet, the French poet and author. A good copy. The leather spine is faded, scuffed and with quite heavy surface wear, with spotting to the boards where leather, though the vellum covered parts are in very good order. The contents are in good, clean condition with a little wear to the front hinge but the binding remains secure.
