First thus, hardback in slipcase. Two volumes, quarter leather binding with cloth boards. Gilt decorations to spine. Each 25 × 17.5cm, xi + 441pp + 473pp.

Cervantes' tale of the deranged gentleman who turns knight-errant, tilts at windmills and battles with sheep in the service of the lady of his dreams, Dulcinea del Toboso.

Condition

An attractive set but some wear. The slipcase is marked and rubbed but in solid condition. The spine have some wear to the head but are in generally good condition. The contents are in good order. Both volumes have a previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
