This is the one volume edition, containing all six novels of the Genji saga: The Tale of Genji; The Sacred Tree; The Wreath of Cloud; Blue Trousers; The Lady of the Boat; and The Bridge of Dreams. The Tale of Genji is a classic work of Japanese literature written by the noblewoman and lady-in-waiting Murasaki Shikibu in the early years of the 11th century. The stories recount the life of Hikaru Genji, or "Shining Genji", the son of an ancient Japanese emperor, known to readers as Emperor Kiritsubo, and a low-ranking concubine called Kiritsubo Consort.

The book is in good, sound condition with clean pages and secure binding. The dustwrapper is a little edgeworn but has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve.
