Folk-Tales of Bengal
contains 22 tales of myth and legend
Reprint. Hardback bound in brown cloth with leather title label to spine. 18.5 × 12cm, 284pp.
First published in 1883, this book collects twenty-two folk tales from Bengal, including The Evil Eye of Sani, The Origin of Opium, and A Ghostly Wife.
A good copy. There is a neat previous owner's name to the ffep, some light rubbing to the boards and tanning to the pages but the book remains in strong readable condition.
