A study of Mexico by the Austrian-American historian, sociologist and criminologist, who made significant contributions to modern Mexican history during his career at Columbia University. The book discusses race, religion, politics, revolution, farming, industry and education, and is illustrated with map endpapers and 15 drawings, as well as two maps within the text.
This is a very good copy, with light bumping to the corners but the inner binding is secure and the pages clean. One issue is a rather scruffily removed bookplate opposite the ffep which has left scarring to the paper.
