First edition, hardback bound in the original green cloth with gilt titling to spine. 22.5 × 14.5cm, 326pp.

A collection of writings by Ammon Wrigley, an English poet and local historian from Saddleworth, which was then in the West Riding of Yorkshire. The book has a portrait of the author and 27 illustrations.

Condition

This copy is in very good condition for age. There is some bumping to the head of the spine and some very light fading to the green cloth. The inner binding is secure but a little shaken in places. Neat previous owner's name to the ffep, and the pages are clean.
