All About Jazz
1934, an early exploration and study of jazz
First edition, first printing. Hardback with printed titling to spine and upper board. 19 × 12.5cm, 190pp.
Quite a rare early book on jazz by the music critic of "The Era", a British weekly paper. Stanley Nelson describes the instruments, celebrities and manner of jazz music and the world's greatest dance bands.
A good reading copy of a scarce title. The spine is faded and the covers marked and dull. The pages are clean if a little tanned and the inner binding is secure but the ffep is loosening a little.
