Printing Details

First edition, first printing. Hardback in dustwrapper. 19 × 12.5cm, 296pp.

The author was an English pioneer of Scouting and an author. She was an early exponent of female leadership in the Scout movement and played a leading role in the introduction of the Wolf Cub programme for younger boy. She was also a Catholic creationist and rejected evolution. This book continues her creationist theories from her first book, Darwin is not for Children, and includes some of the negative and combative reviews of that title.

Condition

The book has comprehensive mottled fading to the green cloth binding but is internally in very good condition. The dustwrapper has light wear and surface marking but is otherwise in good plus condition, it has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve.
