This is French novelist Arnould Galopin's campaign notebook on the front line in the Great War between 1914 and 1916, describing his encounters with Ghurkhas, Indian troops, Scottish and English soldiers, his French compatriots and Germans (mostly as POWs). The book is illustrated with black and white photographs.
Condition
Fair condition. The binding is a little weak with wear and chipping to the covers. The pages are age-toned and a little dry. The book remains perfectly readable but needs slightly delicate handling.
