A charming 1940s childrens' story of Rollo, a rather large and jolly pig, who escapes his farm and lives with rabbits in the wood but loses too much weight (he doesn't like lettuce...) and finally ends up with a nice old lady who wants a large and jolly pig and gives him a nice big sty and all the food he needs. Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white.
Condition
This copy is in very good condition for age. There is some rubbing to the boards' edges, and some light and faint foxing but otherwise the book is in good shape.
