Success with Flowers, Fruit, and Vegetables
A Monthly Journal of Popular Gardening, Two volumes of bound issues for 1899—1901
Various issues, bound in hardback red half-leather with five raised bands and gilt titling to spine. Each: 24 × 15.5m, c240pp each.
A collection of bound issues of this late Victorian gardening journal, with adverts, articles, poems, and illustrations. The issues are not bound in order but do run concurrently and remain an interesting collection. Vol 2: Jan 1900, Feb 1900, March 1899, April 1899, May 1899, June 1899, July 1899, August 1899, September 1899, October 1899, November 1899 and December 1899. Volume 3: March 1900, April 1900, May 1900, June 1900, July 1900, August 1900, September 1900, October 1900, November 1900, December 1900, January 1901 and February 1901.
These two volumes are in fair to good condition. The leather bindings are scuffed and a little dulled. The contents have some tanning, foxing and age-toning, and some pages have a light vertical crease as it's likely the individual issues would have been posted out.
