Romain Rolland's 10 volume novel (all here in four vols) about Jean-Christophe Krafft, a German musician of Belgian extraction, and a composer of genius whose life is depicted from cradle to grave. Volume one contains L'Aube, Le Matin, and L'Adolescent. Volume two is La Revolte and La Foire sur la Place. Volume 3 is Antoinette, Dans la Maison, and Les Amis. Volume 4 is Le Buisson Ardent and La Nouvelle Journee.


An attractive set. The leather is in good order with slight fading and a small chip to the spine of volume 2, and with some surface marking to the leather at the joints of all volumes. Light rubbing to corners. The pages are clean and the binding is secure. Previous owner's name to each volume.
