The book is illustrated with endpapers and twelve black and white plates by James Torrance.
A good copy. The spine is tanned and the boards are rubbed and bumped. Previous owner's inscriptions to ffep. Main body of text in good clean condition, the inner binding sound but starting in a few places. All plates present though the plate at p203 is bound in as a frontispiece.
