Printing Details

Undated, c1920. Second or early edition, hardback bound in salmon coloured boards with printed black titling to spine and upper board. 18.5 × 11.5cm, 251pp + 2pp ads (Strand Magazine & The Happy Mag)

This book contains eight short stories by P G Wodehouse, four of which are early Jeeves and Wooster tales: Leave it to Jeeves, Jeeves and the Unbidden Guest, Jeeves and the Hard-Boiled Egg, and The Aunt and the Sluggard. The other stories include Reggie Pepper, a prototype for Bertie Wooster.

A good reading copy. The boards are rubbed, a little grubby and faded to the spine. The inner binding is sound and the pages in good order but tanned. The book remains in strong readable condition.
