This copy has been signed to Scottish author, philosopher and Liberal politician, George Freeland (G.F.) Barbour from his mother C R Barbour (Charlotte Rachel), the inscription is dated 1929.
A series of essays on international affairs from one of the architects of the League of Nations. The essays were written between 1918 and 1928 and had previously appeared in periodicals. This is quite a scarce first edition.
Condition
Generally good condition. There is some rubbing to the joints and edges, and light foxing throughout. The inner binding is secure and the book is in solid, readable condition.
