Dated from the Proper Lessons and New Testament (both 1866 to title pages; second Psalms dated 1865). An very attractive Common Prayer containing the Psalms and New Testament as well as the Prayers. The front locking catch to the clasp is missing but the remainder in good strong condition.
As mentioned the metal catch to the upper board is lacking but the remaining brass corners and clasp are in very good condition. The book itself is also in remarkably good condition, for age with some light rubbing to the leather.
