This copy has been signed and dedicated by the author's son, the Scottish author, philosopher and Liberal politician, George Freeland (G.F.) Barbour.

A collection of thoughts and jottings from the Rev Robert W Barbour of Bonskeid. They were written primarily as private reflections but his family decided they deserved a wider readership. The poems in the book are taken from an early book of verse published when Barbour left College.

This copy is in very good condition but has some light staining to the boards.
