Printing Details

First edition, first printing. Hardback bound in the original orange boards with printed titling to spine. 19 × 13cm, 288pp.

Quite a scarce first edition of Bartlett's examination of the rise of Hitler and Nazism. It was at this time that Bartlett, a journalist and later MP, was deemed too sympathetic of Hitler and was removed from the BBC.

A good reading copy. The cloth is slightly grubby and faded to the spine, the contents in good order but lightly foxed. This book was given as a leaving present in 1934 fro Westborough School in Essex and several people have signed it.
