Printing Details

First edition, eighth printing. Hardback in dustwrapper, bound in the original yellow cloth with printed red titling and design to spine and upper board. 19 × 12.5cm, 206pp

The Banks children, Jane and Michael, change nannies just about as often as most people change their clothes. It's not that they're naughty, exactly—just awkward. Everyone in the household is at their wits' end with them—until Mary Poppins arrives!

The book itself is in lovely condition. There is some foxing to the page edges but the yellow cloth is clean and bright and with no bumping, the text is in good clean condition and the binding is secure. The dustwrapper is foxed and has been against a smaller book which has left a lighter patch as can be seen in the images. There is a small nick at the front joint and slight loss at the spine ends and corners. However, it is now within a protective sleeve and has not been price-clipped (8s 6d).
