A collection of Greek poet Sappho's work The first half of the book (pp1–85) is in the original Greek, the second half (1a-81a) is the translated work. Illustrated with two full page illustrations by Vera Willoughby.

A good copy. The spine is darkened and there is a small water stain and ring mark to the upper board. Previous owner's rather scruffy inscription to the ffep, some tanning to the untrimmed page edges but otherwise in good order with clean text pages and secure binding.
