Printing Details

First edition, first printing hardback in dustwrapper. 19 × 13cm, 307pp.

Wyndham Lewis takes aim at the poor and austere state of post-war Britain in this series of short stories. Rotting Hill is of course Notting Hill ("the capital of a dying empire"), and the book was written on Lewis' return from Canada and the USA having spent the war years there.

The book is in very good condition with secure binding and clean pages, if a little tanned. The dustwrapper is tanned to the spine with slight loss to the spine ends but has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve.
