The fourth book on the Doctor Syn series, and is a collection of adventures which follows Syn in his guise as the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh as he foils all attempts to catch him and to break up the Dymchurch smugglers. This book inspired the novel Christopher Syn by William Buchanan on which the 1963 film The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh was based.

Condition

A good plus copy. The rare dustwrapper has some taped repairs to the spine ends and some closed tears to the edges, with general wear but is now within a protective sleeve. It has been price-clipped. The book is in good slid shape, with a previous owner's inscription to the ffep, and some light foxing to the page edges and prelims.
