A thorough description of the Moon's surface, divided into 29 sections and each section starting with a segment from Wilkins' map. There are at least 90,000 formations shown and sections devoted to the polar and libration areas. The book is also illustrated with drawings within the text and 16 plates of lunar photographs.
The book itself is in good plus condition, with tanning to the endpapers but the main body of text in good, clean order. The dustwrapper is heavily chipped to the edges and badly creased to the folds. It has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve.
