First Omnibus edition, hardback in dustwrapper. 20 × 13cm, 425pp, 473pp, 564pp.

In the novels that make up the trilogy—The 42nd Parallel, 1919, and The Big Money—Dos Passos creates an unforgettable collective portrait of America, shot through with sardonic comedy and brilliant social observation. He interweaves the careers of his characters and the events of their time with a narrative verve and breathtaking technical skill that make U.S.A. among the most compulsively readable of modern classics.

A good copy but with some wear. The dustwrapper has been price-clipped and has slight loss at the head and foot of the spine, with chipping to the edges and corners but remains attractive and is now within a protective sleeve. The book itself is in good readable shape but has staining to the page edges and is starting to wear at the hinges. It is still well-bound and the main body of text is in good clean condition.
