The author, daughter of anthropologist A C Haddon, examines regional string figures including those created by the Alaskan Eskimo, the Navaho Indian, the Kiwi Papuans, as well as as those made on the Gold Coast and the Cape York Peninsula. Illustrated with 82 diagrams.
The book is in good condition but the binding is a little pulled in places, the dustwrapper is edgeworn and tanned to the spine but sound.
