Two books on Dover and Folkstone in the Second World War
1. Target Folkestone by Roy Humphries. Pub. Meresborough Books, 1990. Paperback, good condition but sunned to the top edge of the front cover and spine. An illustrated day-by-day account of life in the frontline town of Folkestone, bombed and strafed repeatedly with a huge amount of damage.
2. Dover Front by Reginald Foster. Pub. Secker & Warburg, London, 1941. Second printing. Hardback in dustwrapper. Good condition but with wear to the wrapper and previous owner's name to ffep. Published early in the war, this book tells of Dover during the time of Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain, as well as the damage from bombing.
Both books have wear but remain very readable.
