The first four volumes of the classic collection of Middle Eastern folk tales compiled in Arabic during the Islamic Golden Age. Each volume has an engraved frontispiece and printed full-page illustrations by Frank Brangwyn, volume 1 has 8, vol. 2 has 4, vol 3 has 7, and vol 4 has 7.
An attractive part set. The binding are in good order with light bumping to each. Volume one has one page of text and one illustration neatly detached but the inner bindings in the other volumes is secure. The pages clean bar some tanning to the prelims.
