Printing Details

First edition, Second impression. Hardback in dustwrapper. 19 × 12.5cm, 415pp

From the dustwrapper, "The story of self-help co-operatives in which 85 men and women from all ranks of life combine to obtain the tools of production and win independence and security. Like their forefathers these men and women work, argue, starve, and suffer, hope and fear, love and hate; there is humour, excitement, pathos, tragedy, courage and wisdom in their story".

A good reading copy. The book is in good shape but with heavily foxed endpapers, and a stamp from Alfi's Book Store in Iran to the title page. The dustwrapper is heavily worn and creased but has not been price-clipped and is now within a protective sleeve.
