A rare, signed copy of Edward Marsh's memoirs. Edward Marsh was a prominent Civil Servant, a secretary to Winston Churchill, and was an important figure in the encouragement and development of writers, painters, and poets including Siegfried Sassoon and Rupert Brooke. He was the editor of the Georgian Poetry anthology.
The book is in good plus condition. It is in sound shape with secure binding, the main body of text is clean with some spotted foxing throughout mostly to the page edges and endpapers. The dustwrapper is a little creased to the top edge and is tanned to the spine. It has been price-clipped but is now within a protective sleeve.
