Undated, c1930s/1940. Hardback, beautifully bound with leather spine with boards of carved mother of pearl boards, with inlaid pieces and a central floral design. The pages are dyed red. 11.5 × 8cm, 306pp.
An early / mid twentieth century illustrated Common Prayer, also containing the Psalms and Hymns.
Condition
The boards are in very good condition, with some minor scratching but they have lost none of the lustre. The leather spine is in good order. The lightweight paper used for these Common Prayers does have a little creasing to the paper but the inner binding is sound and secure. There are three previous owner's inscriptions to the ffep and following blank. Overall, a delightful example.
