Jones's Wedding, A Tale in Rhymed Prose
Light verse written in the trenches of the Western Front
Second edition, hardback in dustwrapper. 18.5 × 12.5cm, 60pp.
An early reprinting of the first edition (1918). A book of light verse written by Sidgwick in the trenches on the Western Front as a diversion from the fighting. He was killed in action near Ypres in 1917. This edition also contains To William (Shakespeare), and Examination Paper on "Pride and Prejudice".
The book is lightly foxed but otherwise in good solid condition. The now scarce dustwrapper is a little worn to the spine ends and has some spotted foxing but is now within a protective sleeve.
