Edgar Owen Jennings (1899–1985). He studied at Skipton School of Art, Leeds College of Art and the Royal College of Art. He taught art at Doncaster and Leeds before becoming principal at Tunbridge Wells School of Art. He was a member of both the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers and the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours.
This woodcut is in good condition. There are two spots of significant foxing above the image and general tanning and creasing to the paper.
