Oriental Assembly is, as T E Lawrence's brother writes in his introduction, "practically all the author's miscellaneous writings, with the exception of Crusader Castles." It covers TEL's archaeological work in Ottoman Syria, researching ancient military architecture The book includes his 111 photographs from that trip.
A good copy. The covers have some surface mottling from a water stain (heaviest to the rear board) but remain solid and secure. The spine and rear board have some sun fading. Internally, the binding is pulled a little and there are a few inoffensive pencil marginalia. A good plus reading copy.
