An account of the investigation into the hantin of Ballechin House in Perthshire, known as "The Most Haunted House in Scotland". The investigation was conducted by John Crichton-Stuart, 3rd Marquess of Bute with the assistance of paranormal researchers from the Society for Psychical Research including the notorious Ada Goodrich Freer. The book records the paranormal experiences that happened at the house (including the ghost of a nun) though the whole haunting was later on believed to be a fraud.

Condition

Good condition for age. There is some light wear to the boards and the front hinge is starting but the inner binding is secure and the pages are clean.
