This copy comes from the library of Professor Morton Cohen, the eminent Lewis Carroll scholar, and has been signed by Green directly to the ffep "For Morton Cohen, with all good wishes and hopes for future books by him, from his friend Roger Lancelyn Green, Jun 1977". The two worked together on the Letters of Lewis Carroll. Lancelyn Green was a member of the Inklings, the informal literary society in Oxford that included C S Lewis and J R R Tolkien.
