Dostoevsky's final novel is a passionate philosophical story set in 19th-century Russia. It enters deeply into the ethical debates of God, free will, and morality and is a spiritual drama of moral struggles concerning faith, doubt, judgment, and reason, with a plot which revolves around the subject of patricide. This edition is illustrated with superb lithographs by Fritz Eichenberg.

The book is in very good condition with a little tanning to the spine. The slipcase chipped around the opening but has protected the book well.
