Printing Details

First edition, card covers. Contents with stapled binding. 23.5 × 15.5cm, 112pp. With the tissue guard over title page stamped with "Printed by Hand in New Orleans USA" and a new address given at Tucson, Arizona. (The "new address" is handwritten).

An American literary magazine founded in 1961 responsible for bringing Charles Bukowski's work to national attention. This issue (the second) contains writings and poems etc by William S Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, Henry Miller, Jean Genet and many others. The issue also has occasional illustrations by Ben Tibbs, Frank Salantrie and the frontispiece is by Malcolm Paul Newman.

Condition

Good condition for a magazine of this age, but the contents have neatly detached from the covers. The pages are a little tanned but the inner binding is well. Covers slightly chipped to edges and a small price-sticker to the front.
