A sample of titles: Robin Hood and Allen-a-Dale; RH and the Jolly Pindar of Wakefield; The Famous Battle between RH and the Curtal Friar, near Fountain Dale; RH and the Golden Arrow. The book is printed on quite thin paper and each page has double-lined margin.
The cloth binding is in fairly poor condition. The backstrip is all but detached with loss to spine ends. The boards in acceptable condition. The contents are in good condition, the pages lightly tanned but the binding secure. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown. Some pages uncut, others cut a little scruffily.
