Service of All the Dead
The fourth Inspector Morse novel, first US edition.
First US edition, hardback in dustwrapper. 20.5 × 13cm, 256pp.
Chief Inspector Morse was alone among the congregation in suspecting continued unrest in the quiet parish of St Frideswide’s. Most people could still remember the churchwarden’s murder. A few could still recall the murderer’s suicide. Now even the police had closed the case. Until a chance meeting among the tombstones reveals startling new evidence of a conspiracy to deceive...
A good copy, but the board edges are heavily scuffed to the top and bottom. The dustwrapper is attractive and has not been price-clipped, remnants of a price-sticker to the rear. The inner binding is sound and the text pages are clean, some faint staining to the pages' top edge.
Please note: Due to the recent price rise for final mile delivery from USPS, our postage rates to the US have had to rise. We apologise for this but have no choice.
