The Spectator was a daily publication founded by Joseph Addison and Richard Steele in England, lasting from 1711 to 1712. This volume has from No 252, Wednesday 16, 1711 to No 321, Saturday March 8, 1712. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown (Richard Prankerd).
A good copy. The leather is rubbed and rather dull, the endpaper is creased, which carries on for a few pages lessening as it goes. Inner binding secure. Pages clean, if a little tanned.
