An attractive copy but with some wear. The blue cloth binding has surface abrasions and a few small stains, and there is some surface loss to the white parts of the printed titling and design. The corners are bumped but not too heavily. The endpapers and pastedowns are foxed. The title page, text and plates are in mostly very good condition with marginal tanning and some occasional spotting and foxing. Page 13/14 has a 3cm closed tear to the bottom ege not affecting illustration or text. The inner binding is quite weak, it is pulled pretty much throughout the book. No pages are loose but the book will have to be handled with care. However, on the whole, this remains a charming copy of one of Louis Wain's charming cat books.
