This copy is not signed as such, but this copy carries the bookplate of Sir Edward Robert Pearce Edgcumbe of Reperry Manor and a pencil note to the half title to see page 487. This page has a family tree annotated to show how the Edgcumbes and the Livingstons are related.

A detailed genealogy of the Livingstons of Callendar (near Falkirk, Scotland) starting about 1128 and the origins of the name, through to the early twenieth century. The book is illustrated throughout with documents (the frontispiece is a facsimile of the 1439 agreement between the widow of James I and Sir Aleander Livingston), portraits and arms. The introduction contains a chronology of the most notable events in the family's history etc.
The red cloth spine is faded with some fraying to the rear joint (about 4cm) and some wear to the spine ends. The boards are in good order with a little tanning and minor small black scuff to the rear. Internally, the book is in good plus condition, with secure binding and clean pages. All plates are present. The only annotations are those mentioned above and are relevant to the text.
