An autobiography of George Keppel, a British soldier, Liberal politician and writer. Keppel fought with the 14th Regiment of Foot in the Battle of Waterloo, and also served with the 20th Regiment of Foot and as a Captain in the 62nd Regiment of Foot. This book mentions his military life as well as his family history.
A fair copy, the boards quite heavily rubbed and the inner binding loosening. However, the book remains readable and with an interesting signature.
