This copy has been signed by the author to the ffep, "Frances Brown, A Present from George Richardson of Newcastle, 1850".
A scarce history of the Richardson family of Cleveland in the North East of England. It is written from family documents, letters etc and appears to cover from the seventeenth century to the (then) present day, including personal memories from the author. There are a good number of births, deaths and marriages described within the text.
A very good copy of this scarce title. The corners are a little bumped and rubbed. The spine has been relaid so the binding is very secure. The text pages are a little tanned. Previous owner's modern book label to the front pastedown (From the library of Terence J Robertson).
