This copy is signed by Elmer Gertz to the limitation page. Additionally, there are two typed letters signed from the publisher, Roger Jackson, one pasted in to the ffep, the other loose.

The correspondence of novelist Henry Miller and lawyer and civil rights activist Elmer Gertz. Miller and Gertz became friends after he (Gertz) persuaded a court to lift a ban on Tropic of Cancer, which had been the subject of an obscenity trial.
